Contest Rules & Information
1. Standard four wheel wagons or two wheel garden carts. No motorized vehicles of any description.
2. Wagons/carts must be in proper working order and able to roll in parade.
3. Wagons/carts are limited in overall size to 66 inches long, 48 inches wide and 72 inches high, including all decorations. This does not include the pull handle.
4. All decorations must be attached securely. Parade will be on uneven grass surface.
5. Wagons/carts must be hand pulled or pushed by a single person. Children may have adult assistance. For group participation, 2-3 additional members may walk behind the wagon. Parade distance is approximately 1,000 feet.
6. Best decorated wagon awards include: 1st Place Ribbon $75; 2nd Place Ribbon $40; and 3rd Place Ribbon $10.
7. For safety reasons, no riders or animals are permitted in the contest.
8. Lineup for parade and judging starts at 10:00 a.m. in the area south of the main tent. Receive identifying number and securely attach it to the wagon in a clearly visible area. Parade begins at 11:00 a.m. and proceeds through a designated festival area.
