The 2026 MATE ROV Competition culminates in the annual World Championship event where top teams from across the globe will descend on St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada and deploy their custom robots to meet our mission challenge. RANGER, PIONEER and EXPLORER class teams must register here to submit a video demonstration for qualification. Regional competition teams will be invited to register only after winning their qualifier event. The team is registered for the event by the Coach or Administrator who pays the fee for team participation during this registration process. Student team members can then Join the Team by selecting the team name from group list. If you do not see your team name listed, contact your Coach to setup the team registration. Please note that students under 18 years of age must be registered through a parent or adult guardian's account.
