Highlights include the world-renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium, the peaceful Monarch Grove Sanctuary, and a whale-watching excursion, followed by sunset views over the Santa Cruz Wharf after a tasting at Birichino Winery. Walk among the towering redwoods of Big Basin Redwoods State Park, hike along the coastal bluffs of Wilder Ranch State Park, and visit Año Nuevo State Park to observe its resident elephant seals. Along the way, enjoy wine tastings at Beauregard Vineyards and Thomas Fogarty Winery. After crossing the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, explore the vineyards of Sonoma Valley before continuing to scenic Bodega Bay. Stroll through the harbor, take a bay cruise, or visit locations featured in Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds. Visit the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center before concluding our journey in San Francisco, where you’ll have free time to ride the historic cable cars, explore Fisherman’s Wharf, or discover the hands-on exhibits at the Exploratorium.
