This one is just for the Teens! Drop in for a fun and fast-paced game of Shinny—perfect for players looking to stay active and enjoy some informal hockey. This non-contact, full equipment, pick-up style program is open to teens (ages 15-18), with teams formed on the ice. Goalies play for free (first come, first served). Please note, photo ID with date of birth indicated may be requested to confirm age category.

This program takes place on Thompson Family Arena in Heavy Metal Place on February 6, 2026.

Withdrawal Policy

The City of Spruce Grove reserves the right to withdraw any participant, skater, or spectator who fails to comply with the outlined rules and regulations, or who engages in activity contrary to program objectives. In such cases, the City will retain the registration fee for the completed session and may ask the individual to leave the premises.

Refund and Transfer Policy (if applicable)

The full registration fee will be refunded or applied to a transfer up to 48 hours prior to the start of the program. Within 48hrs of the program start date, a refund will not be provided. The personal information that you provide to City of Spruce Grove is collected under the authority of the Protection of Privacy Act (POPA) under section 4(c).
