Description
Have you ever wondered how sheep's wool becomes yarn or why it even works? In this beginner-friendly fiber art class, we'll explore the fundamentals of how fibers twist to usable thread, yarn or even rope. We will start with finger-spinning then move to drop spindles to create your own several-yard skein of yarn. Everyone will also have the opportunity to try spinning on a real spinning wheel. Bring your own spinning wheel if you have one, working or not to have it evaluated. A drop spindle and materials will be supplied.
