New experiences, skill-building, a sense of community and friendship are all part of summer Adventure Camp. Summer camp at the Y invites youth to be inspired through creative play, sports and more. It is an opportunity for youth to stay engaged socially and academically. Each week features a unique theme with fun-filled activities. Days will be filled with fun camp activities to engage brains, exploration rotations to encourage kids to try new things, and plenty of physical activity and games to keep bodies active. Campers will have the opportunity to develop friendships and interact with others while following physical distancing and safety protocols. Campers are divided into age-appropriate groups with activities appropriate to the interests and needs of each group. *Children attending Adventure Camp must have completed kindergarten and be entering first grade. CAMP SESSIONS: Weekly June 21st-August 6th HEALTH & SAFETY: Our Y staff will intentionally teach and encourage good hand hygiene, respiratory etiquette, follow strict guidelines for those who are sick and staff to child ratios. For the safety and well-being of others in the program, those who are running a temperature of 100.4+ degrees cannot attend. We continue to follow CDC guidelines and recommendations and will update protocols accordingly as we get closer to summer. Please know that as of today, we will adhere to all regulations and implement guidance as it relates to such things as: -Facial covering or masks -Daily health/temperature checks -Smaller group sizing and adherence to social distancing -Increased hand washing and sanitizing of equipment and high touch areas CAMP DAY: Monday-Friday 6:30 AM - 9:00 AM Morning Care* 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Traditional Camp Day 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Afternoon Care* *Morning and Afternoon care is available at NO additional fee.
