This EMT psychomotor exam meets NREMT requirements for EMT certification. This is a hands-on skills test only (no written exam). Candidates must have completed an approved EMT course to test. Important: EMT psychomotor examinations are not administered by the National Registry. All EMT psychomotor exams are administered by either the State EMS Office or the training institution (with approval and oversight from the State EMS Office). Please contact your instructor or State EMS Office with any questions regarding the format and logistics of the state-approved psychomotor exam. Prerequisites (submit by April 30): • Proof of completion of an approved EMT program • Valid BLS Provider card Bring on Test Day (May 5): • Copy of your PATT • Government-issued photo ID Important Notes: • Bring a light jacket/sweater • Bring your lunch (you cannot leave once testing begins) • Phones will be turned in at the start of testing • No one may leave until all testing is complete • A completion memo will be provided after successful testing Questions?
