This is a 4-hour training session with 2 hours on the range and 2 hours indoors. The defensive handgun practitioner will develop and demonstrate performance shooting mechanics in live-fire that establishes a baseline of accountability that is tested while utilizing an indoor Use-of-Force Simulator. MEET AT RANGE+Training Objective: The defensive handgun practitioner will develop and demonstrate performance shooting mechanics in live-fire that establishes a baseline of accountability that is tested while utilizing an indoor Use-of-Force Simulator (Ti Recon 180). Who Should Attend: This training session is designed for high-level/advanced handgun practitioners. You need to be able to have a safe, reliable, and working holster (IWB/OWB) and be able to keep your own handgun loaded and functioning on a firing line with no assistance. Choose wisely and be honest with your current skill level to gain the maximum benefit of each practice session. Advanced Practice sessions move quickly and will not slow down for students lacking the required skill level. A solid entry standard for participation is completing a Bill Drill at 7 yards in 4-5 seconds. DO NOT borrow gear just to participate. This should not be the first training session or class taken. Must be 21 years of age. For International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR 22 CFR §§120-130) purposes, only U.S. citizens and lawful permanent resident aliens are eligible to enroll. You must have a valid driver’s license or government ID. +What to Bring: Handgun (preferably semi-automatic) with at least two magazines, 100 rounds of ammo- Holster (IWB/OWB). No cross-draw, shoulder, ankle, or purse/bag configurations. You way shoot from concealment or use a duty set-up.
