The Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber of Commerce (SWCRC) Thriving Together Action Day is a new community-wide day of service bringing together SWCRC nonprofit and business members to make a meaningful impact across Downriver & Southern Wayne County.
Taking place on May 13, Thriving Together Action Day will pair nonprofit organizations with volunteer teams from local businesses for an afternoon of hands-on service. Volunteer projects will occur between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m., providing support for initiatives that help move our mission forward!

We hold all volunteers regardless of service project, to the highest possible standards. We require volunteers that are working with youth to be screened regularly and sign a code of conduct. All volunteers will be monitored when interacting with program participants. We take any inappropriate interactions between program participants and with volunteers very seriously and will fully cooperate with authorities in any case of abuse.
