The Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor course trains candidates to the Competency Level 1 knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to teach the Society’s Swim for Life® and Canadian Swim Patrol programs.
Pre-requisites: Bronze Cross and 15 years+
A mandatory practical teaching experience of eight hours is required to complete this course; however, it is not scheduled within this timeframe.
100% attendance is mandatory. Candidates must be 15 years of age, and have taken Bronze Cross.
