Every Firefighter knows the first ten minutes of a call are critical. In this class, we will look at multiple aspects to assist departments in making the best of this time. Beginning with department structure we will work our way through running the call. We will discuss relevant NFPA standards, training and membership challenges, managing hose lines, forcible entry, reading smoke, scene size-up, and scene management.
