This course is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge required to perform basic rope rescue operations utilizing appropriate equipment, methodologies, protocols, and patient and resource management techniques. The course covers Chapter 6, "Rope Rescue" of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1006, Standard for Technical Rescuer Professional Qualifications, including the area of multi-point anchors, rappelling systems, and ascending systems.
