This NFPA 1041 course will train participants to teach a class from a prepared lesson plan as well as the ability to develop goals and objectives for course success. This course introduces the student to the concept of utilizing training aids to enhance his/her presentation, and how to properly select and use these training aids. The student will give several presentations during the week, all leading to the twenty-minute graded presentation on the final day. Upon Successful completion of this course students will be issued certification for Instructor 1 & 2; however, this does not guarantee employment with WV Public Service Training, West Virginia University - Fire Service Extension, or any other agency. This course is IFSAC eligible. Instructor: Mike Daley Prerequisite: Firefighter 1 and 2 and HazMat Operations OR EMT Equipment Required: Laptop Computer Class will meet on March 6, March 7, March 8, March 13, March 14, and March 15. On Friday's, class will begin at 6pm and on Saturdays and Sundays class will begin at 8am.
