About this event
Camp Information: Javelin Immersion Camp 9am - 3pm $150 (T-shirt included) Registration: Camps have a limited enrollment of 10 girls and 10 boys. Registration deadlines are two days prior to camp dates. Registration and camp information is also available at the camp website at usfcougars.com/trackcamps. Camps are limited to students between 7-12 grade. Where to meet: Lillibridge Track Complex is located at South 69th Street and Cliff Avenue. Check in for all camps will be held at the northeast corner of the track, which is accessible from Charger Avenue via 69th Street (1/4 mile east of Cliff Avenue). Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of camp for check-in. What to bring: Campers should bring workout clothes, water bottle, running shoes, spikes, and javelins. USF has a limited supply of javelins, please bring your own is possible. Lunch is not provided, please bring your own sack lunch. There will be a break from 12- 1. Camp Features The number one goal of the USF track camps is to help athletes improve in their individual events. The way we achieve this is by the following: One-on-one technical instruction and advice from college level coaches Collaboration with current collegiate athletes Participation in various drills to aid in skill development Technical video analysis Instruction on proper training methods Instruction on proper technique for your specific events Support, encouragement and positive motivation from camp coaches and staff Opportunities to speak one-one-one with coaches to ask questions, etc.
