City Building - Minecraft Masterminds Go beyond just playing Minecraft—program it! In this exciting course, students will imagine, create, and share amazing mods in Minecraft by learning and applying programming concepts. Students will: Design, Build, and Code: Develop a deep understanding of game design principles as they design, build, and code their own unique mods. Immersive Coding & Design Experiences: Engage in hands-on, immersive experiences that foster creativity and innovation, while making coding fun and accessible. Create and Share Mods: Bring their creative ideas to life by developing and implementing their own unique mods, which they can share with others. Enhance Logical Thinking and Critical Reasoning: Strengthen their logical thinking and critical reasoning skills as they learn to write and deploy code in the Minecraft environment. We can't wait to see the incredible mods students will create! No prior coding experience is needed—just a passion for Minecraft and a curiosity to learn. Join us and transform your Minecraft experience with immersive coding and design adventures! Join us on an exciting journey into the creative world of Minecraft! In this unique program, you'll not only play but also take your adventures to the next level by learning how to create and integrate mods. Customize your gameplay with new dimensions, challenges, and endless creativity. With guidance from our experienced instructors, you'll be able to design your own Minecraft world like never before. *Tuition fees are inclusive of the 10.5% Shoreline sales tax. *You can pair two half-day camps for a full-day experience! Register for both an AM and PM option and your camper will be supervised for a full 9am-4pm day.
