This class advances into more ballet concepts including ballet positions and terms. In addition, children learn the concepts of counting to the rhythm of music, spatiality (staying in line, forming a circle, etc.), following specific 2-3 step patterns, and memory skills. Dance attire is recommended. Ballet shoes are optional or students may dance with bare feet (no socks please). Children should bring a pair of tap shoes or hard shoes (buckle shoes or "dress-up) to use for tap.
