Class Description:

This three-day adult piano workshop offers an inspiring and immersive experience for pianists eager to refine their artistry and technique. Participants will enjoy two engaging lectures:

• “Mozart à La Mode” with Tamara Friedman, exploring the elegance of Classical-period repertoire.
• “Echoes of Iberia: Piano Music from Spain” with Geísa Dutra, highlighting the vibrant colors and rhythms of Spanish piano traditions.

Alongside these lectures, the workshop features a dynamic blend of learning opportunities:

• Individual Instruction: Each participant selects the repertoire they wish to study.
• Duets and Small Group Classes: Collaborative sessions to build ensemble skills and musical insight.
• Focused Technique Session: “Bring your own technical problems and we will solve them” — a practical, problem-solving approach tailored to each pianist.

The workshop culminates in a supportive final performance, giving participants the chance to share their progress, celebrate achievements, and enjoy the collective spirit of music-making.

Who can join?

Adults with at least two years of piano study, ranging from late-intermediate to advanced levels.

Pack a Lunch!

Participants should bring a lunch with them, along with a water bottle. Coffee, tea, and breakfast snacks will be provided on Monday as we gather for introductions.
