Description: Join us for this weekly Chamber Music Coaching Masterclass. Join as a preformed group, or sign up as a single player to be assigned to a group*. Groups will participate in an alternating schedule, rotating between Week A and Week B:

• Week A - Participants will have 1 hour independent rehearsal with their group, which includes a 30 minute coaching with Luke
• Week B - Everyone will attend the 1 hour masterclass. Luke will create a rotating schedule where a specific number of groups will participate and be coached each masterclass by Luke. All participants are required to attend every masterclass, regardless of if they are playing in that specific class or not. Each group will be coached multiple times throughout the term during the masterclass. Additional practice space may be available on Week 2 for groups if they wish, outside of the masterclass time.

Independent Rehearsals will be assigned a room at Music Center. If groups would like additional time, they can request it if space allows.
*Please note that if you sign up as a single participant, there is no guarantee that you will be placed in a group. It all depends on skill levels and the instrumentation of those who are looking to be placed. Once you are placed in a group, then you would be asked to register for the class.

Who can join?This program is designed for all musicians ages 18+. Participants do not have to have experience playing in chamber ensembles, but should be comfortable playing intermediate level works (such as Mozart or Haydn).
This program is open to both single participants and pre-formed groups.

How to register?To register as a single participant:

2. Register: Pay the $149 tuition fee by August 31st, 2026

3. Submit a Placement Video: Record yourself playing a 3-5 minute solo that best represents your skill and comfort level.
• Submit an unlisted YouTube video, or a Google Drive link of your video to chambermusic@musiccenternw.org by August 31st, 2026.
• Need help with recording? Contact chambermusic@musiccenternw.org to join one of our recording dates.

To register as a group:

• Be sure to include the names of your ensemble members when registering!

Please note: each participant will need to independently register and pay the tuition for the class, not just one representative.

A maximum of 4 ensembles may join this program. Registration may be closed early if capacity is reached.

One hour of rehearsal time each week will be available to groups, this hour may take place from 10:00am - 11:00am or 12:00pm - 1:00pm on masterclass days. You will be assigned a time and room each week to rehearse, please let us know if you have a preference to rehearse before or after the masterclass.
