Learn to surf in a dynamic, fun and empowering group surf lesson during our Coed Group Surf Lessons offered throughout the summer season on the North Oregon Coast. May 25 to August 22, 2024, on selected weekdays. Room for 8 enthusiastic students in each session. Open to adults and teens, women and men. Student: teacher ratio is 4:1 or less. One surf instructor teaches group 3-4. Two instructors teach group 5-8. All NWWSC instructors are experienced, mature Northwest women surfers, who’ve received certification with CPR and First Aid. Rescue surfboard and complete First Aid Kit are on beach at every lesson. Please Note: Equipment isn’t included in the cost of your group surf lesson. State of the art wetsuits, wetsuit parts (boots, gloves, hoods), surfboards and car racks are available to rent from our partner, Cleanline Surf Shop in Seaside and Cannon Beach, Oregon. Mention to Cleanline Rental Staff that you have a lesson with NW Women’s Surf Camps to receive 20% off rentals discount. The board length to rent will be recommended by the Director of NWWSC for your lesson. Pack a large backpack (to put gear in), a large plastic bag ( for wet and sandy gear after surfing), water, snack, towel, sunscreen, and sturdy sandals or tennies for your lesson. All students are provided Gath surf helmets during their lesson for concussion prevention. Advanced beginner swimming skills are essential. Ages 13 to 65 years young.
