Experience the absolute thrill and joy of catching a wave during our Women's Day Surf Camp! This is the only one of its kind offered in the Pacific NW; a full day of women’s immersion with an all women coaching team. This event is open to women of all ages, 13 to 65 years young. We create the connection and empowerment and you experience the transformation from this uniquely Oregon Coast experience. Enjoy hours of exceptional surf instruction and coaching (both on the beach skill building and in the waves), learn the “recipe for a perfect wave” which includes the 3 forecast ingredients to safely know when and where to go (tides, wind direction and wind speed) and an understanding of long shore currents, rip-currents and how to exit them. Enjoy a mindfulness beach yoga session. Delicious catered organic lunch. All surf equipment; surfboard with leash, Gath surf helmet, wetsuit, gloves, boots, and hood is included. Equipment is transported to the day’s camp and delivered to students. Camp souvenirs include a choice of NWWSC tee or tank and our Partner's Goodie Bags. Camp runs from 8 am to 4:30 pm. All coaches have years of NW surfing experience to share with students. They are passionate about cold water surfing, have been on surfing travels around the World, and love sharing their enthusiasm with each and every student. All are certified in both CPR and First Aid. A rescue surfboard and First Aid kit are at every camp. This Day Surf Camp is open to 12 students. Student to teacher ratio is 4:1. Advanced beginner swimming skills are required. Book Early to assure your spot in this camp, and receive $25 off of regular price.
