“Spaciousness” Oregon Coast Trail Hiking Day Adventure with guest, author and OCT Hiker Extraordinaire, Bonnie Henderson, on the longest contiguous beach oceanfront leg of the OCT, along the northernmost of the North Coast, from the mouth of the Columbia River past Peter Iredale shipwreck and finishing with a hike around the trail loop of Coffenbury Lake. (Approximately 7 miles and 2.5 to 3 hour hiking time). Scenic NW landscape with dune grass covered sand dunes, Shore Pines, Spruce and Fir trees, breaking ocean waves of the Pacific, a variety of birdlife and spaciousness as far as the eye can Sea, pun intended. This spacious day begins with women’s introduction circle, fresh baked scones, and morning stretches on the ocean beach at South Jetty. Hiking OCT leg of trail will be followed with nutritious and delicious Chef catered NW organic, seasonal seafood bowls for lunch at the lake side of Coffenbury Lake. Spaciousness workshop follows in women’s circle with pre-event journaling worksheet and wonderful, enlightening conversation and connection exploring spaciousness in life and our own lives and how to create more for your personal creativity and expansion. OCT and hiking questions happily explored with guest Bonnie Henderson throughout the day’s adventure. OCT three plus hour hike, morning stretch, workshop circle, scones, lunch, snacks, author signed copy of Hiking the Oregon Coast Trail book, and NWWSC 2024 Tidebook included. Book your space now with your BFFs or come solo and meet new OCT hiking sisters! Space for 12 participants. Teen girls and adult women are invited (16 to 70 years young). Must be comfortable walking on beach for 2+ hours. Light, “broken in” hiking boots or shoes highly recommended, with positive foot and ankle support. Moderate to high fitness level and strong walking cardio stamina required to participate. If nature calls, we have the dunes and plastic baggies with TP. Cost $250 per participant.
