Description
Dock Marston: Grand Canyon’s Colorado River Running Historian with Tom Martin Listen to stories of Otis “Dock” Marston who went on his first river trip in the Grand Canyon in 1942. Dock rowed through Glen, Cataract, Lodore, and the Grand Canyon, as well as the Snake and Salmon rivers in the Pacific Northwest. You will also see historic film clips from the 1940s through 1960. Tom Martin is an author and Colorado River historian who has been hiking in and rafting through the Grand Canyon since 1971. He has authored several books and received the 2016 Grand Canyon Historical Society Pioneer Award for historical research.Event reminder
