| Adding a rain garden to your yard is not only good for the Earth, it can also reduce your carbon footprint and potentially save you from a flooded basement! Learn how to work with nature to create beautiful and functional rain gardens. We will begin with a short presentiation to provide you with information to help plan your rain garden. Then we'll spend time designing your rain garden, as well answering any questions. Finish up by making a special feature to add to your new garden. Participants will also be able to pre-order native plants from Schaumburg Garden Club's Native Plant Sale! You will leave this class with a list of plants, readings and resources, and some seeds to start your rain garden! Ages: 18+ | | |
