| Are you interested in creating a garden that captures the magic of the Midwest tallgrass prairie? Learn why Illinois is called the Prairie state, and how to work with nature to create beautiful garden beds that feature native prairie plants in your own yard. We will begin with a short presentiation to provide you with information to help plan your prairie garden. Then together we will spend time designing you prairie garden, as well answering any questions. Finish up by making a special feature to add to your new garden. Participants will also be able to pre-order native plants from Schaumburg Garden Club's Native Plant Sale! You will leave this class with a list of plants, readings and resources! Ages: 18+ |
