This camp session features a half-day Bay sailing adventure on the Matthew Turner! Explore the wonders of the intertidal zone and deep seas with this week of Coastal Camp! Campers will have the chance to explore coastal tide pools, microscopic plankton, local marine mammals, and more during this action packed week. Hike to some of the Headlands’ most scenic spots including Rodeo Beach, the Point Bonita Lighthouse and Bird Island overlook and learn about the animals that leave in the blue below! Activities may include: Sailing the San Francisco Bay on the Matthew Turner Hands on learning with tidepool critters Examining plankton under a microscope Exploring the Bay Model Visitor Center Hiking to Point Bonita Lighthouse* *Weather conditions permitting
