This course provides the industrial or municipal firefighter with the basic knowledge necessary to safely perform duties, as a member of a team, to control and/or extinguish liquid and gaseous fuel fires. The participant will be able to properly use Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus during various exercises. The importance of health and safety of firefighters at the emergency scene and the impact of hazardous incidents on the work environment are emphasized.
