Description

Join us for a special Día de Muertos Altar Building Workshop in partnership with the Museum of Sonoma County! Participants will learn about the cultural significance of Día de Muertos while creating their own miniature altars using everyday craft materials. Members will transform shoe boxes into meaningful remembrance spaces decorated with tissue paper, ribbon, yarn, construction paper, pipe cleaners, paint pens, and LED tea light candles. This hands-on activity celebrates tradition, creativity, and honoring loved ones in a welcoming and educational environment!
