Designed for students with a strong foundation in Spanish who want to maintain and improve their fluency through conversation. This immersive course is conducted entirely in Spanish; English is not used during class. Students discuss topics such as culture, history, current events, art, music, and everyday life. Through engaging conversations and collaborative activities, participants build confidence, expand vocabulary, and strengthen their communication skills in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Please bring:
- A notebook and a pen.
- Material Fee ( $30.00) - Paid to the instructor on the first day of class.
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
