Using chairs as the main prop, students will practice some basic Hatha Yoga concepts with a focus on body awareness, alignment, and breathing. In addition, we will be working on improving flexibility. This class is ideal as an introductory yoga class for seniors who need/want gentle exercise, first time yoga students, and office workers who want strategies to reverse the effects of sitting long periods of time.
