Join us on September 19 for a fascinating day exploring one of Los Angeles’ most unique natural and historical attractions! Participants will visit the La Brea Tar Pits, where they can view active tar pits, see Ice Age fossils discovered at the site, watch paleontologists at work in the Fossil Lab, and explore exhibits that bring prehistoric Los Angeles to life.
After our visit, the group will head to the nearby Original Farmers Market for time to shop, explore specialty vendors, and enjoy a wide variety of food options available for purchase. Lunch is not included in this excursion but may be purchased onsite at your own expense. This exciting excursion offers the perfect mix of learning, exploration, and great local flavor.
