About this event
Campers will meet Cue (Dash and Dot’s older sibling) and be introduced to the Design Thinking Process of engineering. With four unique personality Avatars, Cue is a comedian trapped inside a robot’s body. Cue can chat with campers about books or tell them jokes and has a vocabulary of over 170,000 words and 30,000 text responses. Campers will delve deeper into coding by using both block-based and JavaScript code to design tasks and games for Cue to complete. They will generate ideas, create prototypes, test solutions and improve their designs for a variety of exciting gaming and innovation projects using sequences, events, loops, variables, functions, conditionals and arrays, and complete in-app challenges and adventures along the way. Cue enables campers to transition from block-based code to state-machine and text-based programming.
