About this event
Percussion Summer Session Grades 9-12 The Percussion Summer Session is in conjunction with Marching Band Fundamentals and is a recommended prerequisite for the SMHS 2023-2024 Fall and Winter Percussion and is part of the Fall 2023 Titan Marching Band & Colorguard ensemble. Sectionals and extra practice will be at the discretion of each instrumental section. Instruction will be taught by professional music and movement technicians. Course credit is not applicable. BAND CAMP (July 24-July 28 & July 31-August 4, from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m.) is separate from this course and is a mandatory requirement along with zero period Marching Band class (beginning of school through mid-November). If you do not participate in the Percussion Summer Session, band camp is still mandatory. Dates/Times June 5 – June 29, Mondays and Thursdays 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. June 23 – June 24, Friday and Saturday 1:00 p.m.– 9:00 p.m. July 7 – July 8, Friday and Saturday 1:00 p.m.– 9:00 p.m. Location: SMHS Music Room Fee: $200 (plus $25 materials fee and $25 registration fee)
