This three week, four-hour daily class offers five credits.The high school years are a time of many changes and decisions. Health is designed to help students learn about their changing bodies, to help them sort out emotions and personal values, to aid them in maintaining optimum health as a lifelong process, and to show students how to take responsibility for making healthy decisions. Units of study include Mental Health, Stress, Nutrition, Drugs, and Sexuality. This course meets the high school graduation requirement of Health and includes the required CPR training. This course is open to freshman, with sophomores, juniors, and seniors having priority.
