Welcome to the world of stained glass! In this immersive 4-hour Crash Course set over two weeks, you'll embark on a creative journey into the art of crafting a stained glass suncatcher of your choice. Perfect for those with no glass experience, this hands-on two-week workshop covers the essentials of glass cutting, assembly and soldering.
Under the guidance of Camilla Harvey of Through Eyes of Glass, you'll learn the basics of the copper foil-stained glass method to create a stunning window suncatcher. By the end of this two-week class, you'll have not only gained practical skills but also created a beautiful stained-glass piece to showcase your newfound talent.
Each session of this class runs for two hours, for two consecutive sessions. Yes, it really only takes 4 hours to learn the basics of stained glass!
Build on your stained-glass skills. Have you taken the Intro class? Transform your after-work evenings with a unique and creative experience with our four-week Intermediate Panel-Stained Glass workshop. This thoughtfully structured course is designed to provide a solid foundation for those with a little bit of stained-glass experience, offering an in-depth exploration of the key techniques.
Join us on Tuesday evenings from 6pm-8pm as we work on a beginner inspired stained glass panel piece (up to 8.5-11" in size approximately). Each week you will focus on honing each individual skill in the stained-glass craft – scoring and breaking glass, grinding glass, foiling glass and soldering glass.
