Calculus C is an intensive two-week, no-credit summer course that allows students who completed AP Calculus AB to meet the prerequisite for an SAS math course. This ‘bridge’ course covers topics that are additionally learned in AP Calculus BC, but not covered in AP Calculus AB, such as: additional techniques of integration, Euler's method and logistic models with differential equations, arc length and distance traveled along a smooth curve, parametric equations, polar coordinates, and vector-valued functions, and Infinite sequences and series. Students with an overall score of 80% or higher at the completion of this course will be eligible to enroll in the Adv. Linear Algebra and Differential Equations (SAS) course.
