This Intermediate workshop focuses on the core elements of design in watercolor, including color, value, shape, line, texture, and space. These elements are used to create mood, composition, and visual interest. Key, unique aspects in this medium involve manipulating water-to-pigment ratios for transparency, layering for depth (glazing), and utilizing granulation or brushwork to create texture.
*Participants are encouraged to bring a pencil, sketchbook and watercolor supplies to each workshop meeting.Community Center
