Activity Organizer: Ms. Mujic Email: irma.mujic@basisindependent.com Dates: 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month with last meeting on 4/16/24 Time: 4:00 PM–5:00 PM Grades: 6–12 Description: We hope to empower the women in our community through community service and advocacy. Each year we celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Women’s History Month by holding fundraisers and drives, hosting awareness campaigns on school bulletin boards, and creating infographics. In addition, we will invite guest speakers in fields where women are often underrepresented, such as research, medicine, and law, to give insight into their careers including how they overcame barriers to achieve success. Every month, we will have sweet treats from local women-owned businesses to share with our members!
