Activity Organizer: Rachel Van Dusen Email: rachel.vandusen@basisndependent.com Dates: 1st Thursday of the month Time: 4:00 PM–5:00 PM The purpose of the club is to both promote students’ awareness of the harsh conditions that homeless animals face and also potentially partner with local rescues to offer life-changing volunteer opportunities to BISV students. We wish to clearly differentiate shelters from rescues. Since shelters are funded by the government, unlike rescues, rescues often do not have the manpower and finances that their counterparts have.
