Have you ever seen a beautiful mural on a wall and wished you could design your own or learn more about it? This course will help you to do both! Led by public art professional, Alex Cunningham '08, this two-week course will include field trips around downtown murals, engaging with local mural artists, learning techniques and skills for painting at a large scale, and moving through the process of designing a large-scale mural. Although we cannot paint a full mural in this timeframe, we will create mock-ups of your mural vision on the computer! No prior experience needed, all necessary supplies will be provided.
