In celebration of Mental Health Awareness Day, Almaden Community Center will be hosting a Stress Reduction Workshop that will be presented by Breathe California!
One way to reduce stress in your daily life and to improve your physical and mental health is through practicing exercise and breathing. This informational workshop will feature a presentation about the Physical and Mental Benefits of Exercise. In addition, a 20 minute long breathing exercise where you will learn the fundamentals of yoga breathing. From seated position in chairs, participants will practice breathing awareness, belly breathing, chest breathing, and alternate nostril breathing.
