Course Description This AP Writing Prep summer session will prepare students for the writing sections of AP History exams. In this course, students will develop their reading comprehension, analytical thinking, and writing skills through language study and practice exams. Students learn to write a thesis statement, create complete arguments using historical sources, as well as essay-writing more generally. Finally, students will have an opportunity to learn tips and tricks for earning a 5 on their AP exams. This course, in addition to preparing students for AP Exams, will also be useful in laying the foundations for AP English Language and Composition.
