This course will be an introduction to the fundamentals of clothing construction (including pattern preparation and use), sewing machine operation and alterations, for the beginner as well as supervised instruction and guidance for the more advanced seamstress who wishes to learn updated information in clothing construction or to prepare for a career in the clothing and textile industry. This class will enable the beginning, intermediate, and advanced learner to complete a project of their choice. Students will be actively involved in hands-on projects for each individual level of learning.
