Our Art Splash Adult Art Education Program istailored for seniors who love creating art. Our classesencourage creativity, connection, and overall well-being.Participants are introduced to great artists, art styles, andtechniques while exploring themed lessons and creatingoriginal artwork. During this session, we will paint coastal art,a Paris skyline, a landscape inspired by Elspeth McLean’s dotpainting, and create a still life canvas collage inspired by Robin Anne Cooper’s art. Classes are led by a trained andqualified teacher who creates a fun, social, and creativeexperience for all participants. New lessons are offered eachsession, and no previous art experience is required.If the participant has special needs and/or requires special accommodation related to a disability, please contact the facility at the number listed above.
Refund Policy:
No partial refunds or make-ups for missed classes (i.e. routine illness, vacation, or other schedule conflicts). Sorry, no exceptions. Online transaction fees and processing fees are nonrefundable. There are no refunds allowed after the start time of any class. All refunds are paid by check from the city treasurer. To obtain a refund request form, please contact the site supervisor.
If a recreation class or program is cancelled by the City, a full refund of activity fees will be issued except the City will retain the following:
- Any transaction and credit card fees
- Activity fees led that $10 (excludes transaction and credit card fees)
- No refund or transfer for non-attendance at any class
- No credits to account
Written refund applications must be submitted, using the City form, in person at the facility where the program occurs. Refunds will be processed in accordance with the following policy:
- Leagues (individual registration only) - Refund request will be granted based on the following requirements:
- Full refund of the registration fee - application submitted at least 10 calendar days prior to the first day of the scheduled draft
- 50% of the registration fee - application submitted less than 10 calendar days prior to the first scheduled draft
- No refund or transfer - after the first scheduled draft
