Tamales are a classic holiday dish in Mexico, and the party to make them, called a Tamalada, is a big event! In this class you'll learn to make tamales from scratch with Chef Reba! From mixing the masa (corn dough) to stuffing and wrapping each tamal in a its cute little corn husk package; you'll get hands-on and learn everything you need to know to host your own Tamalada! As the class progresses, you'll enjoy trying two flavors: Green Chili Chicken Tamales; and Chipotle Black Bean and Sweet Potato Tamales. They'll be topped with an addictive Avocado Crema and served alongside Fresh Jicama and Orange Salad. The meal will finish with a warm cup of Spiced Mexican Hot Chocolate.
