Tuesdays & ThursdaysCost: $2 (paddles may be checked out for use at no charge)Pickleball is a paddle sport which uses elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. The game is played with a paddle and plastic balls. At Highland Park, play is conducted in the gymnasium on badminton-sized courts equipped with pickleball nets.
Open Play sessions are specifically for beginners to learn the sport with other beginners. Intermediate and advanced players may join if seeking a more casual, beginner/social pickleball setting. It's highly recommended that new players attend these open play sessions before attending the regular M/W/F sessions of open pickleball.
