Discover new recipes and cooking methods to use while camping this summer! Eat your way through outdoor cooking methods as we make: BBQ chicken and banana boats in our Dutch oven; delicious egg sandwiches on your personal buddy burner; one-pot tacos for everyone on the propane stove; and finally, S'mores dip from the solar oven! No experience necessary. All food and supplies will be provided. Class will be mostly outside, so please dress for the weather. If you have a mess kit (plate, bowl, fork, spoon, cup), please bring it. Let's get ready for camping season with easy recipes and methods. No refunds, credits, or transfers if class runs on scheduled rain date of Sunday, 5/31. Students will be notified, by email, of any cancellations by 7am the morning of class (in cases of extreme weather—light rain will not cause cancellation). Emily Loder is a recreational programmer who, through Girl Scouting and volunteer service, has learned many skills that she enjoys sharing with her community.
