Oregon’s favorite trail full marathon and half marathon races returns to Bend for the 19th year on Saturday August 12th, 2023. Starting at Wanoga Sno-Park at an elevation of 5500ft, this idyllic trail will guide you in and out of the beautiful Cascades forests under towering ponderosas leading to blissful mountain views. Not ready for a full or half marathon? Join the Half As (6.5 miles) or 5K and enjoy the scenery as well as the post-race celebration. Haulin’ Aspen is part of the Trail Runner Magazine Trophy Series as a points qualifier and part of the Pacific NW Half & Full Marathon Series.
This year, we have added a virtual component to allow avid trail runners a chance to compete from anywhere in the world. We recommend choosing a trail and trying to mimic our elevation. However, we understand that for many that will be impossible, so we welcome creativity and lots of spirit! Awesome race swag includes a race tee, official race bib and a finisher's medal for everyone! Welcome to the virtual Haulin' Aspen community!
Event details and schedule
2023 Virtual Haulin' Aspen1. Choose your distance: Full Marathon, Half Marathon, Half-As (6.5 miles) or 5K.
2. Choose your route: Run the official trail courses – download our maps to your running app or run your own trail route.
3. Submit your time and include proof of time with a screen shot of your running app, (Strava, Garmin, etc.)
4. Receive awesome Haulin’ Aspen swag: a super soft race t-shirt, finisher’s medal and your official race bib.
***We will have a packet pick-up in Bend for locals the week before the race, or if you live out of town, we will happily mail your swag.
