Welcome to Snapper Creek Elementary Virtual Fish Fun Run
We are excited to host the inaugural Snapper Creek Elementary Virtual Fish Fun Run supported by the PTA. Due to COVID-19 the inaugural event will be a virtual event. A virtual event allows you to participate between April 1-30, 2021 at a time and location that you feel comfortable. All participants will receive a custom race bib, finisher medal, and personalized race completion certificate. We will provide a race app that will handle everything associated with the event. You will be able to track your run/walk, submit your results, view/submit event pictures, view results, receive messages from the race director, and other various features. Click the blue "Registration" button above to sign up. Registration will open from April 1, 2021 through April 26, 2021.

Q: Do I have to run?
A: No you can run or walk the Snapper Creek Elementary Virtual Fun Run/Walk
Q: When and how do I register for the Snapper Creek Elementary Virtual Fun Run?
A: Registration opens on March 6, 2021 and closes on April 10, 2021. Click the blue "Registration" at the top of the page to register.
Q: Is there a specific location I have to run/walk?
A: No, this is a virtual Fun Run, which means you choose the location you prefer.
Q: Is there a specific day I have to run/walk?
A: There is not a specific day. You can choose anytime between April 1st to 30th to complete your Fun Run (5K)
Q: How far is 5K?
A: 5K is equivalent to 3.1 miles.
Q: How do I track/verify my 5K?
A: We provide an event app that will track your distance and time. You will download the "Active Experience" app. Once you download the app you will choose the event "Snapper Creek Elementary Virtual Fun Run"
Q: How do I submit my results?
A: If you use the event app to track your 5K, the results will automatically be submitted to the event when you complete your 5K. If you do not use the event app to track your 5K, you can submit your results at https://resultscui.active.com/events/EmbassyCreekFlamingo5K, you will need your registration number, which is located on your confirmation email.
Q: Am I required to submit my completion time with the results?
A: No, we have a category for those who complete the Fun Run without submitting your time. You will earn your finisher medal but since there is no time, will not be included in the official leaderboard.
Q: Do I have to be associated with Snapper Creek Elementary to participate?
A: No, we would love the support of everyone in the community for this fun event.
Q: What do I get for participating in the Snapper Creek Elementary Virtual Fun Run?
A: All participants will receive a custom race bib, finisher medal, and personalized race completion certificate.
Q: Am I required to submit a time for my results?
A: No. If you choose to run/walk in support of Snapper Creek Elementary but do not wish to submit a time, you will have to verify you completed the 5K without submitting a time.
