The half marathon distance has been dramatically growing in popularity over the past few years. It's a decent challenge for those who have graduated from a 10K, yet not as demanding as a marathon (and it takes far less time to train for).
But moving up to 13.1 miles from single-digit runs can be intimidating for even the most confident runners. Fears pop up from every angle the first time you commit to a half marathon. From a DNF to the IR list, these common worries must be pushed out of your mind if want to have the race of your life.
