The City of Rosemead offers an American Red Cross swim program that is designed to meet a variety of swimming needs. Whether it is learning new swimming techniques, or recreational enjoyment of the water, we have something for everybody.
Our swim instructors are certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors and Lifeguards. Swim courses follow the American Red Cross standards and classes are offered to age six months through adult.
Online and in-person registration will start at 8:00am on Monday, September 8, 2025. Swim lesson registrations are taken on a first-come, first serve basis via online. Due to limited space, participants will only be allowed to register for one time slot. If a child is registered for level not appropriate for their skill set, they will be transferred to a class that is more appropriate, if space is available. Otherwise, a refund will be issued, minus a $5.00 administrative fee.
Aquatic Registration Disclaimer
The summer swim lessons are on a first come first served basis. Due to the limited space available,
1. Participants will only be allowed to register for 2 Sessions, 1 time slot each per child. If participants are signed up for more than 2 sessions at a time or more than 1 time slot, a refund will be issued minus a $5.00 administrative fee.
2. If a child is registered for a level that is not appropriate for their skill level, they will be transferred to a class that is more appropriate if there is space available.
3. If there is no space available, a refund will be issued minus a $5.00 administrative fee.
4. Swim lesson refund will be issued minus a $5.00 administrative fee if participants cancel before 5:00 PM a week prior to the swim lesson start date.
5. The $5.00 administrative fee is waived if participants chooses to have fee held on account instead of being issued a refund
6. Refunds will be issued by checks, any returned checks will incur a $ 25 fee, fee increases thereafter. Refunds will take 4-6 Weeks
